Money Map Press ceased operations on May 1, 2024. The publisher’s own homepage, still live at moneymappress.com, carries the shutdown notice: the company “engaged in a strategic merger with several financial publishers and as of May 1, 2024 will no longer be in operation.” If you are searching for how to cancel your Money Map Press subscription, the answer depends on whether your service was migrated to a receiving publisher, whether you are still being charged, and which editor you originally followed.

You cannot cancel a subscription with a company that no longer exists. You cancel with the publisher that inherited your account. Here is how to figure out who that is, how to reach them, and what to do about charges you do not recognize.

What Happened to Money Map Press

Money Map Press was founded in 2007 and based in Baltimore, Maryland. It was part of the Agora network, the same federation behind Paradigm Press, The Oxford Club, Banyan Hill, and the former Manward Press. At its peak, the publisher pitched more than a million subscribers across a stable of trading and investment letters from Tom Gentile, Shah Gilani, Garrett Baldwin, Chris Johnson, Rob Roy, and Andrew Giovinazzi.

The wind-down came in two stages. In November 2023, Money Map Press began sending subscribers notices that the company would be dissolved and its editors migrated to other publishers. The formal cessation followed on May 1, 2024, when the moneymappress.com domain was converted to the shutdown notice that still stands today. For the full timeline, see What Happened to Money Map Press.

Step 1: Identify Who Is Billing You Now

If you were a Money Map Press subscriber, your service was migrated to one of several receiving publishers. The billing descriptor on your credit card statement should have changed from Money Map Press to the new publisher. Check your statement for the current charge and match it to the list below.

Tom Gentile Subscribers: Gulfport Analytics

Tom Gentile moved his entire lineup — research, education, trade recommendations — to Gulfport Analytics, a new imprint established with Alta Publishing. The migration page at gulfportanalytics.com/tom-gentile-money-map-press-faq/ describes the May 1, 2024 cutover: existing Money Map Press passwords worked at the new site, and access emails went out on May 2.

If your statement shows a Gulfport Analytics charge and you did not want the replacement service, contact Gulfport Analytics directly to cancel. Their refund policy applies, not Money Map Press’s.

Shah Gilani Subscribers: ANNSR Market Analytics

Shah Gilani’s services were absorbed into Manward Press in November 2023. Manward Press itself then ceased operations on December 15, 2025. Gilani has since stepped away to found ANNSR Market Analytics. If you were following Gilani’s Money Map Press services, your subscription passed through Manward and may now route through Gilani’s new entity. Contact Manward’s former customer service or check your statement for the current billing entity.

Other Editors: Where They Went

  • Garrett Baldwin moved into a collaboration with Porter Stansberry on Porter’s Florida Republic initiative. Porter Stansberry is the founder of Porter & Co.
  • Rob Roy’s EWO Trader service merged with Chris Johnson’s Darknet Service.
  • Andrew Giovinazzi’s service merged with Option Pit.
  • Chris Johnson’s Alpha Accelerators service merged with Adam O’Dell’s Max Profit Alert at Banyan Hill / Money & Markets.

If your editor’s service was merged into another publisher, your billing relationship is with that publisher now. Check your statement for the current charge descriptor and contact that publisher directly.

Step 2: Cancel With the Receiving Publisher

Once you have identified who is currently billing you, cancel with them directly. You cannot cancel through Money Map Press — the company is closed and the website is a static shutdown-notice page that accepts no new subscribers and processes no cancellations.

For Gulfport Analytics (the most common migration path for Gentile subscribers):

  1. Call 1-800-672-0744.
  2. Have your account email or order number ready.
  3. Ask the representative to cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal.
  4. Confirm whether you are within any refund window under Gulfport Analytics’s refund policy.

For other receiving publishers, use the same process: call the publisher currently charging you, request cancellation, and confirm the refund terms.

Step 3: If You Are Still Being Charged by Money Map Press

If your credit card statement still shows a Money Map Press charge after May 2024, this is unusual. The most likely explanations are:

  1. Delayed migration: Some accounts took longer to transition than others. The billing descriptor may not have updated immediately.
  2. A charge that processed before the shutdown: If the charge is dated before May 1, 2024, it is a legitimate Money Map Press charge from before the closure.
  3. A recurring charge that was not stopped: If the auto-renewal was not transferred to the receiving publisher and was not cancelled, the charge may have continued processing. Contact your card issuer.

The moneymappress.com shutdown notice lists Gulfport Analytics as the contact for Gentile publications specifically. If your charge is from Money Map Press and you cannot identify the receiving publisher, start there.

The Lifetime Subscription Question

Money Map Press sold lifetime subscriptions to several of its higher-tier products, and this is where the shutdown story turns. The Change.org petition titled “Money Map Press LLC - Money Morning Live and NOW attempting to thieve as MoneyMorning.com” was created on May 30, 2023 — before the formal shutdown — by a self-described lifetime member of the “Warlocks World” service, alleging “a hostile discontinuation of this subscription and denied any form of refund.”

BBB complaint records for Money Map Press, LLC carry multiple lifetime-member grievances with documented dollar figures: a $1,950 lifetime Micro Currency Trader upgrade, a $1,500 lifetime Private Deal Flow membership, a $2,620 Warlocks World lifetime package, a $699 Fellowship Passport lifetime, and one subscriber who reports spending roughly $14,000 on lifetime “all rooms” access across a six-week period in 2022.

The common thread across these complaints is not that the trades went bad — that is a separate argument — but that when the services were discontinued, lifetime subscribers received replacement services or credits rather than cash refunds. One BBB complaint describes being migrated to a Monument Traders Alliance “Daily Profit” alert program as a replacement for a lifetime teaching service, with the receiving publisher refunding its portion while Money Map Press allegedly declined to refund the balance.

This is the same pattern documented in the Legacy Research Group wind-down, where lifetime subscribers received credits rather than refunds and some were billed maintenance fees for services they could no longer access. The lesson is durable and applies to every publisher in this vertical: “lifetime” in financial publishing means the lifetime of the product, not the lifetime of the subscriber. When the product ends, the obligation ends with it, and the publisher decides what — if anything — to offer in return.

The Refund Situation

Money Map Press’s refund policy is no longer in effect — the company is closed. Any refund you are owed must come from the receiving publisher that inherited your account, under that publisher’s refund terms. If you were migrated to Gulfport Analytics, Gulfport’s refund policy applies. If you were migrated to Monument Traders Alliance, Option Pit, or another publisher, their refund policy applies.

If you believe you are owed a refund from Money Map Press directly — for example, a lifetime subscription that was discontinued without compensation — your options are limited. The company is closed. The BBB profile for Money Map Press, LLC may still accept complaints, but the entity is no longer operating. A chargeback through your card issuer may be the only practical path if the charge is recent enough (card networks typically allow disputes within 120 days of the charge, though this varies by network).

When a Chargeback Makes Sense

For Money Map Press charges, a chargeback may be appropriate if:

  • You are being charged by Money Map Press after May 1, 2024, and did not authorize the charge.
  • You were a lifetime subscriber whose service was discontinued without a refund or adequate replacement.
  • You were migrated to a receiving publisher without your consent and are being charged by the new publisher for a service you did not want.

The time limit for chargebacks is typically 120 days from the charge date, so if the charge is from 2024 or earlier, a chargeback may no longer be available. If you are outside the chargeback window, file a complaint with the BBB and your state attorney general’s office. The Oregon Attorney General’s office previously settled with Money Map Press over “misleading and deceptive advertising practices relating to pricing, free offers, and testimonials” — a public record that predates the shutdown.
